We have started to read books with my toddler. Though I started it late, reading aloud to baby is very much effective. It stimulates their awareness to new things, new surroundings. reading also helps them learna and explore a all new world. They get a chance to go where they have not been and to know new things. It is very much recommended that we should read many books to the babies and toddlers. Also reading them in an interactive way brings more fun to it. This is a book by Margaret Wise Brown. This is a classic bed time story for kids. This has lullued genrations of children to sleep and is the perfect first book to share with a child. It is very beautiful way of teaching the child being humble and wishing every objectof the room goodnight and aas the pages turn, the room light goes on becoming dimmer and dimmer.

This is a book by Tulika Publications. A very simple book with good illustrations of what all things the tiney little fingers can do. Kids learn to count their fingers and toes. They also learn the names of their fingers lilke thumb, index finger, middle finger, fourth finger and tiny finger. It also tells the importance of each finger. As an art perspective, I liked this book a lot.
