Ice painting for kids

Ice painting | Frozen colors painting fun for kids -

This painting can be fun for kids of all age groups. We had some of our relatives at our place. And also as it was summer over here, i thought to introduce ice painting to these kids to explore frozen colors and have great painting time. 




Materials needed :-


1. Ice tray
2. water
3. cornflour
4. food colors
5. toothpics




Method:-


- First take required amount of water in a bowl by filling the ice tray with water.
- Then add adequate amount of cornflour to the bowl of water with the required consistency.
- Take a portion of this mixture into a small bowl and add food color.
- Transfer this to the ice tray. Now mix another food color in the same way.
- Now keep the ice tray in the freezer for making frozen colors.
- After some time interval, check and try to insert toothpicks into the colors. If not, try agin after           some time.
- Toothpicks can be inserted only between the freezing time interval and not after or before.
- When the colors are completely freezed and have become ice, our frozen colors are ready.
- Let the kids explore ice and colors and have fun and a grerat time.
