Games to play with toddlers | Indoor games for kids







Check out these simple indoor games that require no such specific materials.
Any random materials around the house. They can also give kids a screen free time which is a big task for parents these days...

Also these games help to build thinking ability, logic, cognitive skills and boost overall development.

Game 1 - This is a very classic game. It requires three cups and a ball. Hide the ball under any one cup and misplace the cups. Now let the child find the cup in which the ball is hidden. Skills - hand eye coordination

2. What is Missing game - For this game, you can collect any random things from around your house and keep it in front of ur child. Let the child visualise each material. Now tell them to close their eyes and take out any one item. Now let the child open his eyes and guess what is missing. Skills - memory activity to boost kids mind..

3. Find the odd one out - keep any random things long with an odd one. Let the child select the odd one. Skill - memory game, problem solving, visualising





4. Target game or bowling - Some cups and a ball is all that is required for this activity. Stack them and let the child target the cups and try to drop maximum cups. Skill - target practice, gross motor, hand eye coordination.

5. I Spy game - Place any random things in a basket. Describe an object from the basket and let the child recognise it. For eg. I spy something which is blue in colour, I spy something which is soft to touch. Skill - vocabulary building, thinking ability
