Setting up activities is really a tough job. To know the child's interest, to experiment, to create, to collect the required materials but the joy of learning with simple and playful method always inspires me to set up new shelf activities every week. This week we have fine motor skill activities, matching activities and size and shape sorting.
Outline matching- matching the outline with different sizes of the lids.
Sensory activity with some paper scraps and animal figurines. Activity is to hunt for the animals and then name it and match with the flashcard.
Shape puzzle using building blocks
Fine motor skill activity to put the pegs onto the pegboard
Again a nice fine motor activity to put the beads onto the appropriate colored feathers.
This is a simple size sorting activity with colorful felt shape cutouts. To arrange according to the size.
