Crochet flower Doily or Plate

I will be showing you the tutorial with pictures for making woolen flower doily or plate.

Final outcome:-

Step 1:

First start with the slip knot or the initial crochet knot. Next make 5 chains and slip stitch in the first chain to form a loop.

Step 2:

Take 3 chains and continue with 11 double crochet. So including the first chain 3, we will be having 12 double crochets. End with slip knot to end.

Step 3:

Now we can change the color. Attach the next color you choose. Chain 3. Leave 1 stitch and single crochet into the next stitch. Same agin repeat, chain 3, leave 1 stitch and single crochet in the next stitch. complete the round and end with slip stitch. In this way, we will be getting 6 petals.

Step 4:

Chain 1. Single crochet into the chain space. Chain 3. Now half triple crochets to form 6 loops and take from all of the loops. Now chain 6. Now make the next cluster by repeating the half triple crochets to form 6 loops and take from all of the loops as earlier process.

Step 5 :

Now you will be having 6 clusters. Now you can change the color. Slip stitch or single crochet in the first chain space. Chain 3 and work with triple crochets as in the earlier process. chain 6 and make cluster in the same chain space. In this step, we will be having two clusters in single chain space of 6. continue till the end and end the round with the slip stitch. At the end, we will be having 12 such clusters.

Step 6:

Now change the color. Slip stitch in the chain space and work with triple crochet clusters with two clusters in same chain space of 2 as in the above step no 5. At the end, we be having 24 clusters.

Step 7:

Change the color. Now slip stitch in the chain space of 6. And make cluster as above this time one cluster in each chain space of 6. Then chain 5 and 1 cluster into the chain space of 6. Continue till you reach the end.

Step 8:

Change the color. Now chain 2 and double crochet into the same chain space. Now continue with 3 double crochet into the chain space of 5. Repeat again, chain 2 and double crochet into the same stitch and 3 double crochet into the chain space of 5. Continue till the end. This will complete the flower doily. I have extended the doily by another round of double crochets at the end to complete the color combination.
