Kids are always ready to explore the things around them. Especially the babies. They get excited by seeing some new thing and starts to follow it and explore it. So why not we help them in a better way by introducing them with interesting play and learn activities.
Singing and dancing with kids :-
Kids enjoy to listen to songs and dance along. And if we give them company, their enjoyment will be multiplied. You can jump, crawl, run, swing, wave, turn round and round along with your kid. They will really have a good time and will continue to have this session with you everyday. They will also develop love for dance and songs and develop their strength in arms and legs.
Read books to them :-
It is never too early to start reading books for your baby. They will listen to you and understand to your gestures and narration. After some repeatative reading, they will respond to your actions and develop love for reading and listening stories. Reading also develops language skills and learn the words and meaning and interactions also develops between parent and child. Introduce them to picture book with big pictures. They will find it interesting and also learn with fun.
Take them to the park :-
Take them to the park and let them explore the greenery and nature. Some parks may have see-saw and slides and swings so that they can enjoy playing with it and can also learn to make friends with other kids in the park. This is also helpful in social development and awareness.
Engage them in gardening:-
Involved them in planting trees. Let them plant a small sapling at home and tell them water the plant regularly. Tell them the role of plants in giving oxygen to us and the fruit and vegetables we eat because of these plants. As they water the plants, they will also enjoy the experience of the plant growing in front of them day by day.
Enroll them to toy library :-
There are many good reasons to enroll kids in toy library.
It gives them many toys to explore and learn. They also learn to keep the toys in good condition after playing with them. This brings a sense of responsibility within them. Kids can also select their own interest led toys. Toy library has many puzzles for kids which you can let them solve and increase their problem solving side.
